Aymeric Lecomte
I came to Chinese medicine as an engineer — someone who needs to understand the mechanism before trusting the method. Three years of acupuncture school taught me that most students arrive without the conceptual framework to make sense of what they are learning.
This course is what I wish had existed before Year 1. It is built from the actual texts — Su Wen, Ling Shu, Nanjing — read carefully, not summarised. I practice in Valencia, Spain, and I built this for the students and patients who want to go deeper.
For prospective students, the course addresses the two things Year 1 asks of you at once: a structured system for memorising all 361 points before school begins, and a grounding in the philosophical framework — Yin/Yang, Five Phases, the cosmological logic of the Neijing — that makes every clinical decision legible.
“Classical Chinese Medicine, made rigorous.”
“I have heard that the people of high antiquity, in [the sequence of] spring and autumn, all exceeded one hundred years. But in their movements and activities there was no weakening. As for the people of today, after one half of a hundred years, the movements and activities of all of them weaken. Is this because the times are different? Or is it that the people have lost this [ability]?”
Su Wen, Chapter 1 — Huang Di’s question to Qi Bo — Unschuld translation
Seven sessions. Built from primary sources.
History of Acupuncture
From Bian stones to the Neijing — and the critical difference between Classical Chinese Medicine and TCM that schools rarely explain clearly.
Fundamental Concepts
Qi, Yin/Yang, and the cosmological framework that makes everything else in Chinese medicine legible.
The Jing Luo
Meridians as a living system — not channels on a poster, but a functional map of how the body organises itself.
Five Phases
Wu Xing in full depth — correspondence tables, seasonal rhythms, clinical application, and where the theory actually originates.
I Ching & Hexagrams
The philosophical bedrock that shaped Chinese medical thought, read with the clinical tradition in mind.
Study Skills
How to memorise 361 points, read Classical texts efficiently, and build a study routine that survives Year 1.
The Science of Acupuncture
What the research actually shows — RCTs, sham controls, neuroimaging, and how to talk about evidence honestly without dismissing or overclaiming. Very few courses include this. We do.
Arrive at Year 1 already fluent.
The Pre-Study tier is built around one idea: by the time school starts, the concepts, the points, and the vocabulary should already feel familiar. These are the tools that make that happen.
Anki decks — all 361 points
Ready-to-import flashcard decks covering every acupuncture point: location, actions, indications, classical names. Built to be used from day one of school.
12 point location cheat sheets
One printable PDF per channel. Clean diagrams and landmark descriptions — the kind of quick-reference you’ll pin above your desk during Year 1.
12-week pre-school schedule
A week-by-week study plan that sequences the course content, the Anki reviews, and the cheat sheets so nothing overlaps and nothing gets skipped.
3–5 classical text passages per concept
Where Foundations gives one Su Wen or Ling Shu excerpt per concept, Pre-Study goes deeper — multiple primary sources with commentary, so the ideas stick.
Private student forum
A moderated space for questions, discussion, and peer support with other pre-school students. Aymeric reviews and responds weekly.
Mentorship tier: go further

Frequently asked
When does the course launch?
July 10, 2026. Join the waitlist to be notified first and receive your free guide immediately on sign-up.
Do I need any prior knowledge?
None. The course starts from zero — historical context, first principles, no assumptions about what you already know.
Is this accredited?
No. This is a pre-study preparation course, not a professional qualification. It prepares you for accredited school — it does not replace it.
What language is the course in?
English. Designed for English-speaking students and patients.
What’s the difference between the tiers?
All tiers share the same core video content and the bonus science module. Foundations is videos only — no downloads or study tools. Pre-Study adds ready-to-import Anki decks (all 361 points), 12 printable point location cheat sheets, a 12-week study schedule, and access to the private student forum. Mentorship adds live group sessions and 1-on-1 calls on top of everything in Pre-Study.
Can I upgrade later?
Yes. If you start with Foundations and decide you want the full student resources, you can upgrade at any point after launch.
